It’s almost confirmed that iPhone 4 bumpers, cases and covers will not fit with iPhone 4S due to possible shift in the silent (or mute) and volume buttons. Our advise is not to purchase cases for your expensive iPhone 4S till you have the gadget in hand. Tomorrow is the official availability or shipment of iPhone 4S across North America and Europe by Apple. And we have to see to which variations (16, 32 and 64 GB) of iPhone 4S Apple might have moved the silent and volume buttons or for all the models.

If you have a bumper, case or cover of iPhone 4 with large cut out at the silent or mute button and planning to switch over to iPhone 4S then you might not to purchase the new case. Let us know if you purchased new case or you have used the old iPhone 4 case.
